When we made our music discovery with data (from Bandsintown) post, a band called The Lemon Twigs came up. They ranked number 6 on the Bandsintown list, and there was a particular line from the original post that has stuck with us. They compared The Lemon Twigs to the Beatles, saying it was kind of crazy to compare any modern band to the iconic, classic, timeless Beatles.

But we have to say, listening to Do Hollywood has this crazy Beatles feeling to it, that is very difficult to resist. Listening to The Lemon Twigs makes you "instantly think you’ve been transported back to the 1970s", describes the NME. Other reviewers compare the band to other iconic bands from the 70s and describe the sound like raiding an old record collection.

The weird thing that description sounds like it's all gonna go horrible wrong – but it doesn't. It sounds wonderfully fresh, yet familiar.
