The garage bands of Iceland come out of garages across the country on Reykjavík Culture Night 2026, performing a lively mix of funk, blues, pop and rock.
The celebration takes place at Gamla Bíó and marks the festival’s tenth appearance at Culture Night, having first been held in 2015. The line-up brings together enthusiastic amateurs and seasoned musicians.
The programme begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
Bandmenn then take over at 10:00 p.m. and, as always, keep the party going well into the night.
A true musical feast at Gamla Bíó on Reykjavík Culture Night.
