VOODOO CHILD: THE WOODSTOCK EXPERIENCE Voodoo Child is a psychedelic Blues Rock band that regularly tours the major live clubs of Europe. Known for their theatrical shows that combine music and storytelling, they are bringing their Woodstock 1969 experience to Græni Hatturinn. This power trio promises a massive, psychedelic sound—delivering the impact of a 5-piece band. Audiences will be transported back to the original 1969 Woodstock atmosphere through: • Tamar Tsiklauri Iberri: Vocals, keyboards, and bass. • Matteo Amadei: Guitars. • Gianpi Degian Occhialini: Drums.

voodoo childVoodoo Child is an Italian-American blues rock band formed in Italy in 2018. The group consists of guitarist Matteo Amadei, singer&pianist Tamar Iberri and drummer Degian.
Formed by professionals members, they are widely considered to be very faithful and efficient in livening up the Hippie and Woodstock musical era on the stage. Some of Voodoo Child's influences include Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Santana, Doors, John Mayall, Paul Butterfield, Rolling Stones, Cream, Mountain, Joe Cocker, etc. The mix of improvisation and Funk elements are evident in their playing. During the performance the audience can enjoy the pure vintage and original sound of '60-'70's mixed with the individual touch and creativity, as well as the artistry of each member. Voodoo Child has played in many European countries, such as Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland. On December 31 2024 the band played at the famous Hard Rock Café Amsterdam.
