Good band names are hard to come by, but when you hear one, you are certain not to forget. CAKE is the prime example of that as I have never forgotten their band name since I heard them first. And come on, any band with a trumpet player can not go wrong.

CAKE are not turning out records in the zillions, they turn out songs which are extremely fun and entertaining (here's AXS's pick for their top 10 songs). And they are brilliant live.
