Didn't Expect the Jonas Brothers to be the Standout Performance at the BBMAs

ET

The Billboard Music Awards took place in Las Vegas last night – and as expected, it was a spectacle. Who would have thought though on a night that brought Taylor Swift's first performance in a new era, Mariah Carey is crowned an icon, Ariana Grande plays her chart-dominating 7 rings on stage, and Halsey joins BTS for a performance – that the scene stealers become the boyband that reunited, The Jonas Brothers.

They totally did though.

It was simply an undeniably fun performance that got the whole crowd moving – and no one seemed more excited than Joe Jonas' wife Sophie Turner who can be seen singing along to every word in the video in a way that is so genuine it becomes irresistibly infectious.

Well done to these extremely talented brothers. If you want to dive into a deep exploration on their musical legacy, might we recommend this episode on Swithced on Pop that explores the solo careers of Nick and Joe when the band was on hiatus, before their recent reunion – a move that brought us the singles Jealous and Cake By The Ocean, the tracks that opened the medley they performed before they launched into their latest single Sucker.
