There's a reason no genre in the United States sells more tickets then the country genre (probably). The relatable lyrics and the catchy AF ballad is just too irresistible to not start tapping our feet and singing out the lyrics along with this Grammy-winning chart-topper.
But don't just take my word for it, see the Glastonbury crowd belt out this banger back to this powerhouse artist word-for-word in a my-goosebumps-got-goosebumps inducing way. What a way to end a set, with a singalong for the ages.
Country music has taken a while to claim its place outside of it's home in the South in the United States – but featuring artist like Carrie Underwood on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and broadcasting it on the BBC to millions of home demonstrates just how much the genre is expanding and growing in new territories.
Carrie's set at Glastonbury was a part of the UK leg of her Cry Pretty tour.
